The inside track on best giveaways and restaurants

-- Library Journal, 05/27/2009

Don’t even think about attending BEA without first consulting LJ’s inside line on top freebies and great places to eat when your day is done. First up is Book Review Editor Barbara Hoffert's six galleys to grab at BEA. Six is just for starters—here’s a list of roughly 70 more galley giveaways in Ready, Set, Galley Grab!: Our Guide to BEA 2009's Giveaways.

Hauling books is hungry work; fortunately, Manhattan is home to many great restaurants to meet every taste so check out Pizza, Boigahs, and Bangers in the Mouth: A Guide to Eating Your Heart Out in New York.

Also peruse Booked Solid in Gotham: BEA Preview for hot programs.

Print these lists and keep them handy, or save the paper and check them out on your mobile device via Library Journal Mobile

Also drop by and see us at the Librarians' Lounge (booth 745). LJ will be posting BEA news throughout the weekend, so check in daily.
